The Magicard Rio 2e single-sided card printer provides fast, dependable printing for ID programs of all types and sizes. With a rugged metal construction, it offers reliable performace for demanding applications. The Magicard Rio 2e can print one full-color card every 22 seconds or one monochrome card every six seconds.

For enhanced card security, the Rio 2e comes equipped with a custom Holokote watermark system that serves as an anti-forgery measure. The printer applies a holographic watermark which you can see when you examine your cards at an angle. The Rio 2e and the Tango 2e come with the Holokote Custom Key, which allows you to customize your watermark with your own logo and text, and also lock your printer so that it no longer functions without the Key. Purchase Magicard Holopatch cards if you'd like to highlight a portion of your watermark with a gold seal for additional security. The Rio 2e also supports HoloKote Flex which lets you size your custom watermark and position it anywhere across the card for an additional cost. If you choose, you may include encoding modules for more technologically-advanced ID card printing.
