The Magicard Rio 2e offers single-sided, full color, fast card printing for organizations that need their cards printed at lightning speed. This printer produces a full-color, edge-to-edge card in 22 seconds, making it one of the fastest direct-to-card printers on the market-- or you may choose to be economical and print monochrome cards, which take a measly six seconds to print per card. A dual high and low-coercivity magnetic stripe encoder comes with this version of the Magicard Rio 2e, making it even easier for you to create gorgeous time, access or membership cards. The Rio 2e's high-coercivity magnetic stripes won't be easily demagnetized, but they will add another level of use to your cards.
To secure your cards, the Magicard Rio 2e lets you furnish every card with a custom Holokote watermark that cannot be duplicated. The printer includes a Holokote Custom Key, which allows you to create a custom watermark featuring your own logo and text. This holographic watermark can be applied across the surface of each printed card. The Custom Key can also lock your printer to deter unauthorized users. For an extra cost, you can add HoloKote Flex which lets you adjust the size of your holographic logo and position it anywhere across the card. Optional HoloPatch card stock works with Holokote to produce highly visible gold seals on your finished ID cards.
