The Rio 2e features a plug-and-play driver for easy operation right out of the box. It also includes interfaces for parallel, USB, and Ethernet connectivity allowing for secure network use.
Thanks to Magicard's patented HoloKote watermark, the Rio 2e produces highly secure cards. HoloKote is a secure watermark that is automatically applied to the surface of a card during the print cycle. The HoloKote pattern protects cards from fraudulent reproduction. With the Rio2e this pattern comes in the form of a Custom HoloKote Key featuring your own logo and text. For added felxibility, you can upgrade to HoloKote Flex which gives you freedom to control the size and positioning of your holographic watermark. Optional HoloPatch card stock can also highlight a portion of your watermark as a highly visible gold seal.
Another highlight of the Magicard Rio 2e is its flexibility. It includes a 100-card feed hopper for larger print runs, and offers options for magnetic stripe and smart card encoding, should your ID card program require advanced functionality.
