The Magicard Pronto is a high-value card printer ideal for smaller ID programs in need of an on-demand card printing solution. Compact, lightweight, and budget-friendly, the Pronto fits neatly into any office environment, and its small stature makes it easily portable. The Pronto is a hand-fed printer, so each ID card is printed individually. Well-suited for low-volume printing, it produces durable cards with sharp images and vibrant colors. It can print a full color ID card in just 35 seconds, while monochrome cards only take 7 seconds.
As with most Magicard printers, the Pronto provides extra card security with the inclusion of a secure holographic watermark system called HoloKote. HoloKote gives you the option of adding a secure watermark across the surface of each printed card at no extra cost. The HoloKote watermark can be applied during the normal printing process. With the Pronto, you can choose from four fixed HoloKote patterns (waves, rings, keys, and globes) selectable from the printer driver. The printer also accepts Magicard HoloPatch card stock. HoloPatch cards highlight a portion of the HoloKote watermark to create a high visibility security seal.
