Reverse Transfer Printing Ensures Quality Cards
The Magicard Prima 3 Uno uses reverse transfer printing, a process where a mirror (reverse) image of the card is printed onto an overlay film, which is then applied to a card, "sandwiching" the image between the card and the overlay film. The overlaminate layer protects the card from abrasive outside elements like friction - which can wear a normal card's image down over time - and keeps cards looking newer longer. A card printed with a reverse transfer printer like the Magicard Prima 3 Uno can last several times longer than a card printed with direct-to-card or inkjet technology. Also, because the card image is not printed directly onto the card, the Magicard Prima 3 Uno can easily print cards with embedded technology (like smart cards and RFID cards) without compromising quality.

Not only that, the Prima 3 can be adjusted to print on cards with different thicknesses - from 10 mil all the way to 80 mil. Need more than simple, single-sided cards?
