High-Quality Printing
The Prima 4 Uno uses a reverse transfer printing method. The card printer first prints a reverse image of the card onto a special film that is then applied to the surface of the card. This overlaminate layer adds a protective barrier against outside elements that would add wear and tear to the card and damage the image. Reverse transfer printing extends the life of the cards. In addition, reverse transfer printing provides a measure of flexibility when it comes to selecting the type of card used in your ID card program. Beyond the standard PVC format cards, the Prima 4 Uno is compatible with non-standard formats such as ABS, PET, PVH, and polycarbonate.
