The Magicard Opera 100 color or monochrome ID card printer allows you to print sharp, single-sided, full-color ID cards quickly. This printer uses a single-card, manual feeder, which is ideal for retail stores or other businesses that distribute small numbers of gift cards, customer loyalty cards, membership cards and/or employee ID cards on an occasional basis. At a diminutive seven pounds, the Magicard Opera 100 fits easily on cramped desks or countertops, plus it transports well for temporary events like trade shows and conventions.
The Magicard Opera 100 comes with Magicard ID Badging Software for simple card design. Choose from a set of standard badge designs, or create a custom design. Use a webcam (not included) to photograph cardholders, or cut and paste existing portraits onto the card. Then, choose a barcode. Once you're done, the Magicard Opera 100 downloads and prints the color card in 30 seconds; monochrome cards only take six seconds. For added card security, the Magicard Opera offers the unique ability to apply a HoloKote waves pattern across the surface of each printed card at no extra costs. This holographic pattern protects against illegal duplication and increases card durability. When used with special Magicard HoloPatch cards, one section of the HoloKote watermark can also be highlighted as a highly visible gold security seal.
